About ETPP

Five individuals outdoors posing around a fallen tree in a wooded area. Four are standing, and one is kneeling in front. They are dressed casually, with some wearing black shirts and hats with a logo.
Six people are standing in a circle looking down at the camera, which is held by one person. They are outdoors with green trees and a blue sky visible above.

What began as Morristown Paranormal Detectives in 2014, founded by lead investigator Mac McHone, alongside siblings Steven and Stephanie Cothran, evolved into the East Tennessee Paranormal Project in 2017. The transformation came when the trio crossed paths with fellow husband-and-wife enthusiasts, Cody and Jessica Clevinger, forming a tight-knit team united by curiosity and a shared passion for the unexplained.

With over 20 collective years of experience, ETPP is more than just a paranormal investigation group—we’re five close friends driven by a relentless search for answers to the mysteries that lie beyond the veil.

Our Mission

At the heart of ETPP is a deep commitment to helping others. One of our most rewarding pursuits is assisting people through private investigations—bringing peace, understanding, and sometimes closure to those facing unexplained phenomena in their own lives.

We also love connecting with fellow seekers at conventions, where we share stories, learn from others, and celebrate the strange and supernatural together.
